Conditions of Sales

CCS refers at all times to Continental Chef Supplies Ltd. Unless otherwise agreed all sales made by CCS are made on these conditions of sale. No variation of these conditions of sale or any terms supplied with any order form or other document provided by you will be binding on CCS unless confirmed in writing by a director of CCS. All goods are subject to availability. As a result of continuing development the specification or design of goods may vary from that shown. 

You are responsible for deciding on the suitability of the goods offered for any particular purpose and for the consequences arising from any work we undertake on the goods at your request.

Prices & Payment

All prices in our catalogue, leaflets and our website are in pounds sterling (unless stated otherwise) and were correct when published and given in good faith. CCS reserves the right to change the advertised price before we charge your card. Unless otherwise agreed payment is required prior to delivery of the goods. Where CCS agrees to issue an invoice you must pay the invoice within 30 days of the invoice date. For so long as any amount to be paid for goods remains owing to CCS title to goods will remain with CCS and will not pass to you until CCS has received payment in full including any interest due. CCS may charge interest 4% above the base rate from time to time of HSBC bank on any amount not received by the due date until such amount is received, both before and after judgement.

For payments made by non-UK credit/debit cards, the exchange rate used will be the bank's rate at the time of processing the payment.


Goods held in our warehouse are usually dispatched the same working day and delivered within 2-3 working days on the UK mainland - although bulky or fragile items may take longer. Ask for details for deliveries outside the UK mainland.

Before proceeding with the order, CCS will confirm with you if the delivery charge is above the Standard Delivery Charge. Due to occasional problems with electronic systems delays may occur in CCS receiving orders via email or the website, and this may affect delivery. Risk of loss or damage to the goods shall pass to you upon delivery. Claims for damage to goods must be noted at the time of delivery and notified to CCS in writing within 3 days of delivery to you. Claims for non- delivery of goods must be notified to CCS in writing within 7 days of the invoice date. Goods returned will be accepted entirely at CCS's discretion within 30 days of delivery to you provided that they are returned unused, in perfect condition and in their original packaging. Free carriage paid returns applies to UK mainland only and CCS stocked catalogue product lines. You must contact us for authorisation to return goods on our customer services return line 01236 850236.

Any goods returned to CCS without authorisation or which are not in the condition set out above will be rejected and returned to you at your cost.

CCS reserve the right to charge an administration charge on all returns. Where goods do not appear in a CCS publication (including but not limited to our catalogue or a leaflet or our website) and are specially ordered for you CCS will only accept the return of the goods if they are defective and returned within 30 days of delivery to you. This also applies to goods that have been embroidered and goods that have been customised. CCS reserves the right to charge a restocking of up to 30% of the goods value.

All drawings, descriptive matter, images, specifications and advertising issued and any descriptions or illustrations contained on this website are issued or published for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the goods described in them. If you need to clarify the exact specifications of a product, the customer is asked to contact the CCS customer service team before making their purchase.

Guarantee & Liability

CCS accepts no liability of whatever nature arising as a result of any representations breach of contract, late delivery of product, negligence or otherwise including but not limited to liability for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profits, revenue, business or goodwill except for liability for death or personal injury caused by CCS negligence. All conditions warranties guarantees and representations, express or implied, by statute, common law or otherwise in relation to the goods (other than any liability which CCS is not permitted by law to exclude or restrict) are hereby excluded.

Telephone Calls

Telephone calls may be recorded and used for training and/or monitoring purposes


CCS may at its absolute discretion decline to accept orders or to offer credit terms. All errors and omissions excepted. All trademarks acknowledged.

Clearance Stock 

Clearance stock is subject to availability. Clearance prices may change when you’re not purchasing products online, such as placing an order through the office. Contract Caterers may not be offered the same clearance price as online due to personal account discounts.
